01—Overview

INTER-CANOPY LIGHTING
Bring Light Deeper Into the Crop
In dense high-wire crops, light availability decreases as radiation travels deeper into the canopy. GLPL is designed to position supplemental LED light within the crop itself, bringing photons closer to middle and lower leaves that receive less light from overhead sources.
Its slim linear architecture and two-sided light distribution make GLPL suitable for integration between crop rows as part of a combined top-lighting and inter-canopy lighting strategy.
02 — Key Benefits
Product Architecture
DESIGNED AROUND THE CANOPY
01
Double-Sided Light Output
Delivers supplemental light from both sides of the fixture to improve photon availability within the crop canopy.
03
In-Canopy Light Placement
Positions supplemental light within the crop canopy, targeting areas where light from overhead fixtures is naturally reduced.
05
High Photon Efficiency
Delivers up to 450 μmol/s PPF with efficacy up to 3.3 μmol/J at 50% output, supporting energy-efficient supplemental lighting.
07
Passive Thermal Management
Passive thermal design provides heat management without active cooling components, reducing mechanical complexity.

02
Wide-Angle Light Distribution
Broad optical distribution is designed to spread light laterally through the surrounding canopy for effective inter-lighting coverage.
04
2.5 m Slim Linear Design
The long, narrow fixture integrates along high-wire crop rows while minimizing physical interference with the crop.
06
IP65 Protected Construction
IP65-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water ingress for demanding commercial growing environments.

05 — Photometric performance
GLPL uses a wide, two-sided light distribution designed for inter-canopy placement, directing supplemental light toward foliage on both sides of the fixture.
Actual light distribution within the canopy depends on fixture position, row geometry, crop density and installation layout.

GLPL Inter Grow Light
Description
The GLPL Inter Light is designed to provide supplemental lighting from inter-canopy level in greenhouse for any crop, increasing the yield by at least 16%.
Mechanically, the GLPL comes with 2m and 2.2m lengths, inter-connectable to each other and run a full row in the greenhouse.
Photometrically, the light comes standard with 90% red, 5% green, 5% blue spectrum and is customizable to any preferred spectrum. Further, the light comes with an omni-directional light distribution which maximize the light use efficiency and avoid the leaf burn.
Electrically, the light is available in 400V and 208-240V input, and 100W to 250W power.
